We all face times in our lives when we need extra comfort and care. Whether you're in the hospital, just lost your job or grieving the loss of a loved one, we want to be there for you. Led by Pastor Elvin Hayes Jr., Pastoral Care Ministry provides love, encouragement and support to those who are hurting.
If we know about your hospital stay, we do our best to visit and pray with you for improved health and strength in your situation. Benevolence help for food, shelter and other vital needs is available to those who qualify. You can request an application at the information center in the main lobby. A follow-up interview will be scheduled for those who are eligible.
We are also an Angel Food host site. Angel Food Ministries is a nonprofit organization that provides groceries at low cost. Each month's menu is different and consists of fresh, frozen and packaged food. Check the latest brochure for deadlines and delivery times, then place your order. There are no restrictions or conditions to purchase Angel Food. The food relief program is open to all.
Pastoral Care Ministry also trains volunteers who feel called to pray with the many people who come to our altars. The prayer team plays a vital role in assisting those seeking prayer for their own needs or for concerns they have for others.
